Our Program

Welcome to Life Keys Homeschool Clubs — a thriving social space where children build friendships, confidence, and life skills through shared adventure

A Nature-Based Social Club for Homeschooling Families

At Life Keys, we are a membership-based nature and social club for kids. Our offering is centred around community, connection, friendship, and the rich social experiences that naturally unfold through play, adventure, and shared time together.

We are not an education service and do not follow a curriculum, nor are we a childcare service. Our social club offers something children often need just as much: a play-based, nature-rich environment where they can connect, explore, and engage with others at their own pace.

Each day flows through a mix of unstructured play, creative projects, outdoor adventure, and group games. Children climb trees, build cubbies, splash in the creek, garden, kayak, zoom down our zipline, race billy carts, explore bush trails, create market stalls, and immerse themselves in imaginative and physical play. They craft with clay, wood, twine, paint, and natural materials — expressing curiosity, creativity, and confidence.

Life Keys is guided by our main leader, who brings over 20 years of experience working with children in outdoor and group-based settings, including forest school environments and leadership roles. With a strong understanding of group dynamics and child development, our leader facilitates a space where children can feel comfortable, engaged, and free to participate in their own way.

At its core, Life Keys is a social environment where children spend meaningful time together. Through shared experiences, they naturally navigate communication, teamwork, problem-solving, and group dynamics. Friendships form, confidence grows, and children gain real-world experience interacting within a group.

Many of the qualities parents value — resilience, patience, initiative, independence, and responsibility — emerge organically through these shared experiences. Whether it’s working through a challenge, trying something new, or supporting a friend, children build confidence through participation rather than instruction.

Life Keys is a place for children to belong, to explore, and to enjoy being part of a connected and active group.

Power of Story Telling

One of the most special parts of each session is our group storytelling circle. Together, we explore the lives of incredible people from history — adventurers, inventors, artists, and leaders — whose real-life journeys highlight timeless personal qualities. These stories spark conversation, reflection, and curiosity, giving children the opportunity to think about who they are and who they’re becoming — in a natural and engaging way.

Arts & Crafts

Inspired by nature and imagination — think bush treasures turned into art, hand-built creations, and open-ended projects that invite children to explore, create, and express themselves freely.

Physical Activity

Physical activity at Life Keys includes climbing, running, building, and exploring in nature, along with group games and sports that encourage movement, coordination, and shared participation.

Social Experience

At Life Keys, children spend meaningful time together in a guided group environment. With strong role modelling from our leaders, children naturally experience

What Truly Sets Us Apart

Is our connection to the local community. We collaborate with the food forest caretakers, beekeeping association, community garden, parkland volunteers, and local artists to share in experiences that are meaningful, practical, and grounded in our environment.

Through these connections, children have the opportunity to take part in real-world activities and experience what it feels like to be involved in something beyond themselves.

This is social experience at its most alive — outdoors, story-rich, community-connected, and full of heart.

Your child will come home tired, happy, and fulfilled — not just with dirty feet and wild stories, but with meaningful friendships, growing confidence, and a deeper sense of connection to the world around them.

Our Leaders

Each club is guided by experienced and capable leaders who hold a calm, respectful presence within the group. They set clear boundaries and model positive interaction, supporting a space where children can feel comfortable being themselves.

Our mixed-age groups create a natural environment for connection, where children interact, collaborate, and learn from one another through shared experience.
